On March 14, 2026, C.P. Vietnam Corporation welcomed a delegation from the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, Agriculture and Fisheries Authority (DVFAFA), together with representatives from Food Bank Vietnam, for a working visit and site tour at the C.P. Cu Chi Food Processing Plant.
The visit provided delegates with insights into the company’s production processes, food supply chain management, and initiatives aimed at reducing food loss, optimizing resource utilization, and improving efficiency in food processing and preservation.
The delegation included Ms. Sanne Høj Andrén, Agricultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam, along with experts from the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, Agriculture and Fisheries Authority (DVFAFA).


Discussions on Food Value Chains and Resource Optimization
During the working session, the parties exchanged perspectives on food value chains and practical solutions for optimizing resources throughout the production process.
From the business perspective, C.P. Vietnam Corporation shared how its integrated Feed–Farm–Food model helps connect every stage of production, from raw material sourcing to finished products. The model also enhances traceability and minimizes waste throughout the production chain.

On-Site Observation of the Production Process
Following the discussion session, the delegation toured the factory’s production lines, including raw material handling, processing, and final product packaging. The production system is designed with a high level of automation, minimizing direct human contact while integrating multiple layers of quality control throughout the process.

Expressing her impression of C.P. Vietnam’s production model, Ms. Maiken Desirée Moltke, Project Manager at DVFAFA, noted that she was particularly interested in how the company develops and operates its food production value chain.
According to Ms. Maiken, the model demonstrates the company’s ability to effectively manage each stage of the production chain, thereby enhancing product quality and improving operational efficiency.
Integrating Production with Social Responsibility
In addition to its manufacturing activities, C.P. Vietnam Corporation also shared information about its community support initiatives in the food sector, aimed at assisting disadvantaged groups and contributing to food security efforts.

Experts from DVFAFA highly appreciated the scale and level of standardization applied throughout the factory’s production operations. The working session also created opportunities for knowledge sharing and strengthened cooperation among the parties in implementing solutions to reduce food waste.
