Nuturing future talent is a long-term commitment for C.P. Vietnam through its partnerships with universities and educational institutions across the country. To help Livestock and Veterinary students build practical skills and better understand industry practices, C.P. Vietnam partnered with the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry - Thai Nguyen University, to organize the "Professional Skills with C.P. Vietnam" Competition.

Seven teams competed in the exciting final round of the "Professional Skills with C.P. Vietnam" Competition.

Finalists confidently tackled technical challenges during the competition's final round.
The competition concluded on 29 June 2026, capping off a series of hands-on learning activities that strengthened collaboration between academia and industry.
Bridging academic learning with industry practice
More than 300 students entered the preliminary round of the competition. Following the written assessment, the 42 highest-scoring students advanced to the final round, where they competed in 7 teams.

Students received hands-on training designed to strengthen skills required in modern livestock production.
Ahead of the finals, the teams took part in a training program led by lecturers and C.P. Vietnam specialists. Designed around real industry requirements, the sessions helped students reinforce technical knowledge, sharpen practical skills, and gain insight into the professional workplace. The program also introduced participants to C.P. Vietnam's corporate culture, career pathways, and employment opportunities.
Putting Skills to the Test
The final round combined technical knowledge with hands-on challenges, requiring students to apply classroom learning to practical industry scenarios.
In addition to the talent showcase and knowledge-based rounds, the competition featured six practical skill challenges: assembling and disassembling an automatic syringe, poultry vaccination techniques, identifying veterinary medicines and their appropriate use, diagnosing diseases from images and developing treatment plans, and conducting clinical post-mortem examinations on pigs.

The practical challenges gave students the opportunity to develop hands-on skills and strengthen their problem-solving abilities.
Each challenge simulated real-life situations commonly encountered on livestock farms, allowing students to refine practical techniques, improve decision-making, and strengthen teamwork.
One of the participants, Tran Hoang Nam, a fourth-year Veterinary Medicine student (Class EN03, K54) at the University of Agriculture and Forestry – Thai Nguyen University, shared: "Through this competition and the hands-on activities organized by C.P. Vietnam, we had the opportunity to develop practical skills directly related to livestock production. It was an invaluable experience that has given us greater confidence and better prepared us for our future careers."
Experiencing Modern Livestock Production Firsthand
Following the competition, the 42 finalists, together with faculty representatives, visited the C.P. Hai Duong Feed Mill for an on-site learning experience.

The site visit gave students firsthand insight into C.P. Vietnam's modern feed production operations.
During the visit, students learned about internationally standardized feed manufacturing processes, stringent quality management systems, and advanced production technologies. The experience provided valuable insight into modern manufacturing while helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practice.
