As part of the overseas working visit led by General Secretary and State President To Lam from May 27 to June 1, 2026, Minister of Agriculture and Environment Trinh Viet Hung met with Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, Chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group).
Minister Trinh Viet Hung met with Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, Chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Group, together with executives from CPF and C.P. Vietnam during the official working visit to Thailand.
According to Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, the Minister highly valued C.P. Vietnam’s long-term commitment to Vietnam, its integrated Feed – Farm – Food production model, and the company’s positive contributions to economic growth as well as Vietnam–Thailand cooperation.

Both sides expressed confidence that cooperation between Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Charoen Pokphand Group will continue to strengthen, contributing to technology transfer, the development of high-value agricultural production chains, enhanced competitiveness of Vietnam’s livestock sector, and the achievement of national goals on food security and sustainable agricultural development.
