Discussing the Group's future development plans, Mr. Montri Suwanposri, Member of CPF Executive Committee and Vice Chairman of C.P. Vietnam Corporation, said that expanding value-added food processing and exports will be among C.P. Group's key investment priorities in Vietnam. Planned initiatives include increasing poultry processing capacity, investing in new production facilities, and further strengthening the country's integrated hygienic slaughtering network to support long-term growth in both domestic and export markets.

Mr. Montri Suwanposri shares C.P. Group's long-term investment strategy for Vietnam.

In the poultry sector, CPV Food Binh Phuoc, C.P. Group's integrated poultry farming and export processing complex, currently operates with advanced production technology and a processing capacity of approximately one million chickens per week for export markets. Building on the project's strong performance, C.P. Group plans to invest an additional USD 200 million to double the facility's capacity to two million chickens per week.

C.P. Group also plans to invest approximately USD 300 million in a new poultry processing plant in Phu Tho Province, with a designed capacity of one million chickens per week. The project is expected to strengthen processing capacity in northern Vietnam, expand the supply of value-added poultry products, and support the country's agri-food export growth.

In the pork processing sector, C.P. Vietnam has established a network of five hygienic slaughterhouses nationwide. The company plans to invest a further USD 100 million to expand and enhance its integrated pork processing system, ensuring compliance with the evolving requirements of both domestic and international markets.

Through its fully integrated Feed–Farm–Food business model, C.P. Vietnam manages every stage of the value chain from breeding and biosecurity to food processing and traceability. This integrated approach strengthens quality control across the production process while enabling the company to meet increasingly stringent food safety and traceability standards in both domestic and export markets.

Leveraging Technology to Create Greater Value Across the Agri-Food Chain

Alongside expanding processing capacity, technology remains a cornerstone of C.P. Group's long-term investment strategy. The adoption of digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced management systems is expected to improve operational efficiency, strengthen quality assurance, optimize production, and enhance traceability throughout the agri-food value chain.

In Vietnam, C.P. Vietnam is accelerating the adoption of AI and data-driven solutions across its livestock operations. These initiatives aim to standardize operational data, enhance monitoring and analytics, strengthen traceability and risk management, and improve decision-making across the integrated production system.

The Group also continues to invest in technologies that improve production efficiency, optimize energy consumption, strengthen quality control, and streamline supply chain management. At the same time, renewable energy, resource recovery, and green manufacturing practices remain integral to its vision for modern, sustainable agriculture.

In support of its Net Zero by 2050 commitment, C.P. Vietnam is implementing a range of initiatives to improve energy efficiency, increase the use of renewable energy, and strengthen greenhouse gas emissions management throughout its operations. The company is also advancing circular economy practices by reducing packaging materials, expanding reuse and recycling programs, and promoting more efficient resource management.

C.P. Vietnam develops its farms with a strong focus on biosecurity, quality assurance, and full product traceability.

Looking ahead, C.P. Group continues to view Vietnam as one of its strategic markets for agri-food development. The Group plans to expand investment in higher value-added segments, strengthen food processing capacity, accelerate technology adoption, and enhance production capabilities for both domestic and export markets, supporting the long-term development of a modern, safe, and sustainable agri-food industry in Vietnam.
