The 2026 “Good Deeds from the Heart” blood donation campaign brought together representatives from government agencies, organizations, businesses, and volunteers.

The “Good Deeds from the Heart” blood donation campaign, jointly organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society, the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (ThaiCham), and Thai and Vietnamese businesses, was held in Ho Chi Minh City on 12 July 2026. Organized as part of the celebrations marking His Majesty the King of Thailand's 74th Birthday (28 July 2026) and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand, the event served as a meaningful platform to strengthen ties among government agencies, organizations, businesses, and communities from both countries through voluntary blood donation.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, Consul General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City, said: "Every unit of donated blood represents far more than life-saving support for patients—it symbolizes the friendship, compassion, and enduring partnership between the people of Thailand and Vietnam. I believe these acts of generosity will continue to strengthen the longstanding ties between our two countries and contribute to an even closer and more prosperous future together."

Volunteers joined the campaign to help strengthen blood supplies for emergency care and medical treatment.

This year's campaign attracted more than 300 registered volunteers and collected 216 units of safe blood, providing valuable support to the city's blood bank and helping meet the ongoing demand for emergency and clinical care.

As a long-standing supporter of the initiative, C.P. Vietnam once again contributed to the organization of the event while encouraging its employees to participate as voluntary blood donors. The company has supported the campaign annually as part of its commitment to helping strengthen the blood supply for emergency and medical treatment while promoting humanitarian initiatives that benefit the wider community.

Beyond helping replenish the blood supply, the campaign also provided an opportunity for Vietnamese and Thai government agencies, organizations, businesses, and communities to come together in support of a shared humanitarian cause.
