On July 29, 2025, C.P. Vietnam Corporation - Ben Tre Aquatic Feed Mill Branch (the Mill) officially received ASC Feed certification, one of the world’s most rigorous and prestigious standards in sustainable aquaculture feed production.
At the certification ceremony, Mr. Prasan Atimanon – Vice President in charge of the Aquatic Feed Business Unit of C.P. Vietnam - along with the executive board and employees of the Mill, officially received the ASC Feed certificate from Bureau Veritas Vietnam, one of the leading organizations in testing, inspection, and certification in the country.

Achieving this certification marks a significant milestone in the Mill's long-term development strategy and affirms C.P. Vietnam’s commitment to supporting the Vietnamese aquaculture industry toward a more professional, responsible, and internationally integrated production model.
ASC Feed – The Global Standard for Sustainable Aquaculture Feed
The ASC Feed (Aquaculture Stewardship Council – Feed Standard) is a global benchmark designed to ensure that feed used in aquaculture is produced sustainably, with transparent traceability, and minimal negative impact on the environment and society.
This certification outlines hundreds of strict criteria, including: Responsible and traceable raw material sourcing; Carbon emission reduction and conservation of natural resources; Assurance of food safety and animal health; Strong social responsibility practices throughout the supply chain
The Mill has become one of the pioneering enterprises in Vietnam, and among the top 13 globally, to officially attain this certification - opening up major opportunities for Vietnamese aquaculture products to access high-standard markets such as Europe, the United States, and Japan.

To achieve ASC Feed certification, the factory had to meet over 260 rigorous evaluation criteria, covering internal governance, traceability systems, environmental impact control, and labor standards.
Building on C.P.’s existing foundation of stringent raw material control, the transformation and assessment process was implemented methodically, comprehensively, and scientifically. The plant carried out a thorough review of its processes, screened suppliers, adjusted production procedures, enhanced environmental monitoring, and conducted staff training in accordance with international standards.
Notably, the factory is also a pioneer in using locally sourced, sustainable fishmeal - paving a new path toward proactive raw material sourcing and promoting the responsible development of the domestic supporting industries.

Over its 15 years of operation, the C.P.
