Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group) continues to affirm its vital role in Vietnam’s agri-food industry as the Group’s Chairman, Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, held an official meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Environment Do Duc Duy in Hanoi on May 15, 2025. The meeting not only marked a significant milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two parties but also opened a new vision for Vietnamese agriculture: Modern - Green - Sustainable - and Globalized.

“We are not merely investing in production. We are investing in people, in the future, in the sustainable values of this country,” Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont passionately shared during the meeting. He also expressed his desire to continue receiving support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Government of Vietnam to help Vietnamese-branded livestock products reach Europe, the Middle East, and other potential markets.
Minister Do Duc Duy highly appreciated the leadership role of C.P. Vietnam, stating that the company is not only a large-scale producer but also an “ideal model” of modern agriculture—one that harmoniously integrates technology, the environment, and the community. The Minister emphasized that C.P. is inspiring and creating strong momentum for Vietnam’s agricultural value chain and expressed hope that the Group would continue to be a driving force for green transformation, digitalization, and innovation in sectoral governance. He also praised C.P. Vietnam’s contributions to advancing the livestock value chain, generating employment, and enhancing the competitiveness of the country’s livestock sector. The Minister further acknowledged the company’s involvement in community programs such as OCOP product development, Sarus Crane conservation, and tree planting, among others.
