C.P. Vietnam Supports the 2026 Red Spring Festival, Promoting Community Solidarity

Red Spring Festival 2026, the annual event launching the year’s series of blood donation activities, took place in a vibrant atmosphere, drawing the enthusiastic participation of members of the public, volunteers, and organizations.

The 2026 Red Spring Festival, which marks the start of the year’s voluntary blood drive activities, opened in a vibrant atmosphere, drawing strong participation from residents, volunteers, and organizations. The opening ceremony took place on the afternoon of March 3 and was organized by the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, in collaboration with the Vietnam Youth Association for Blood Donation Advocacy.

The program runs for ten days (February 27 - March 8, 2026) at multiple locations across Hanoi. The initiative helps replenish blood reserves for emergency care and medical treatment following the Lunar New Year holiday, while continuing to encourage a spirit of compassion and community engagement.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh, Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, within the first five days of the event (starting February 27), the 2026 Red Spring Festival had already collected more than 5,000 units of blood, reflecting the strong public response to voluntary blood donation initiatives.

The year 2026 also marks the 15th consecutive year that C.P. Vietnam has partnered with the program. The company’s sustained support has been recognized and honored by the Organizing Committee, contributing to the promotion of meaningful community initiatives and encouraging broader public participation in voluntary blood donation activities.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghia, C.P. Vietnam Compassion Ambassador for the Northern Region (second from left), received the certificate on behalf of the company from the organizing committee.

In support of the program, C.P. Vietnam donated 5,000 food gift packages, consisting of fresh, safe, and high-quality products produced through the company’s integrated production chain. The gifts were presented to volunteers and blood donors participating in the event. These packages helped care for participants’ well-being, supporting donors’ recovery and replenishing their energy after donating blood.

In addition, many C.P. Vietnam employees actively took part in the blood donation drive, contributing to the spread of compassion and community spirit.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Be (19, from Nghe An) shared: “This is my second time donating blood. For me, it is a very meaningful activity because it is not only beneficial for my health but also allows me to help many people.”
