On March 20, 2026, in Kyoto, Japan, C.P. Binh Dinh Feed Mill and C.P. Hai Duong Feed Mill were recognized by the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) at the TPM Award 2025 ceremony, receiving the “Award for Excellence in Consistent TPM Commitment.” The award honors organizations that have effectively implemented Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) while demonstrating stable performance and continuous improvement in their manufacturing operations.

TPM is a manufacturing management methodology developed by JIPM, focusing on maximizing equipment effectiveness through continuous improvement, defect prevention, and enhanced productivity, quality, and safety throughout the entire production process.
Under JIPM’s TPM assessment framework, companies progress through multiple levels of achievement, from basic to advanced. The “Consistent” level is a higher recognition following the “Excellence” stage, honoring organizations that not only implement TPM successfully but also sustain its practices, drive continuous improvement, and achieve long-term operational excellence. It is widely regarded as an important milestone on the path toward the highest level of recognition, TPM World Class.
A Milestone in the Journey of Continuous Improvement
Having implemented TPM since 2018 and received the TPM Excellence Award in 2021, both C.P. Hai Duong Feed Mill and C.P. Binh Dinh Feed Mill have continued to strengthen and enhance their operational performance in the years that followed.
By 2025, after two rounds of on-site assessments conducted by JIPM experts, their continuous improvement efforts were recognized with the “Award for Excellence in Consistent TPM Commitment.” The award reflects not only achievements in equipment optimization and productivity enhancement, but also the successful cultivation of a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Beyond recognizing management systems, the award also demonstrates the plants’ operational capabilities, where high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are consistently embedded in every stage of the manufacturing process.
C.P. Binh Dinh Feed Mill plays a key role in supplying animal feed products to Vietnam’s Central and Central Highlands regions. Located in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, An Nhon Nam Ward, Gia Lai Province, the facility has a designed annual capacity of 720,000 tons. Supported by modern infrastructure and integrated production systems, the plant utilizes automation and smart management solutions to ensure quality control and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Meanwhile, C.P. Hai Duong Feed Mill, located in Tan Truong Industrial Park, Mao Dien Commune, Hai Phong City, also has a designed annual capacity of 720,000 tons, making it one of the largest feed mills in northern Vietnam. Its operations are organized under a closed-loop production model, integrating biosecurity measures from raw material reception through manufacturing and final dispatch. The combination of automation, data-driven management, and internationally recognized energy management systems enables the plant to maintain consistent product quality while continuously improving operational efficiency in a sustainable manner.
Strengthening Operations Based on International Standards
Being recognized once again by JIPM at the TPM Award 2025 demonstrates that these plants have progressed beyond TPM implementation to achieve a higher level of stable operations and continuous improvement.

Building on this achievement, C.P. Vietnam’s feed mills will continue advancing TPM implementation to higher levels, with the goal of attaining the highest distinctions, including TPM World Class. At the same time, the company is progressively expanding TPM practices across its other business sectors, including swine farming, aquafeed production, and food processing, to further enhance operational excellence throughout the organization.
Notably, this year’s award ceremony also recognized several companies within the C.P. Group in Thailand operating in the animal feed, packaging, and food industries. Their participation highlights the Group’s consistent implementation of TPM across its global operations while reaffirming C.P. Vietnam’s important role within the Group’s international manufacturing network.
This achievement reflects the plants’ strong operational capabilities and demonstrates that TPM has been consistently integrated into C.P. Vietnam’s manufacturing practices. As demands for operational efficiency and sustainable development continue to grow, TPM remains a fundamental driver in strengthening the company’s competitiveness and expanding its participation in global value chains.
