Together for a sustainable livelihood recovery
Embodying the spirit of “Mutual support and compassion - The strong help the weak”, C.P. Vietnam Corporation has officially launched the program “Joining hands for Flood-stricken communities”, aiming to assist people severely impacted by natural disasters in overcoming consequences, stabilizing life and rebuilding sustainable livelihoods.
The program is implemented in collaboration with the Department of Animal Health, The Vietnam Youth Union, C.P. Vietnam and Foodbank Vietnam, and local authorities. With a total budget of 5,000,000,000 VND (5 billion VND), the program focuses on key activities such as:
- Supporting livelihood recovery by providing 90,000 breeding chickens, 45 tons of feed, 1.800 liters of disinfectant and organizing training sessions on safe farming;
- Providing 1,800 emergency relief packages to households heavily affected in 6 provinces: Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Lang Son, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and Ha Tinh.
- Donating 1 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province in nationwide disaster relief efforts.

Right from its early days of implementation, the program has carried out timely and practical relief activities in affected localities. On October 13th, 2025, C.P. Vietnam collaborated with the Department of Animal Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, visited Thai Nguyen province to deliver 15.000 breeding chickens, 7.5 tons of feed, and 300 liters of disinfectant. These contributions aim to help local residents restore their produce, rebuild livestock herds, and stabilize livelihoods after the disaster.

Continuing its efforts, on October 17th, 2025, C.P. Vietnam contributes 1 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee of Dong Nai province to promptly assist communities in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. Speaking at the program, a C.P. Vietnam representative shared: “We hope to contribute a small part to share the hardships faced by people affected by natural disasters, and to spread compassion for a more sustainable community."

Moreover, C.P. Vietnam has also implemented internal support policies for employees in flood affected areas and launched a donation in the company through the CPV Donation Fund.

On October 20th, 2025, at the C.P. Vietnam’s head office, the company held the Kick-off ceremony of the “Joining hands for Flood-stricken communities” program and initiated an internal fundraising campaign. This marked the beginning of a compassionate journey “Caring and Sharing”, as tens of thousands of employees across the country united in solidarity to support. On the first day of the campaign, the initiative received enthusiastic participation and wide-reaching support from all C.P. Vietnam employees. All funds raised will be allocated directly to assist residents in flood-stricken provinces and to provide aid for company employees in severely affected areas, helping them overcome difficulties and rebuild their lives.

Through this program, C.P. Vietnam once again reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility, spreading humanitarian values, and the spirit of solidarity and community engagement. The company believes that every act of kindness, no matter how small, contributes to great strengths for communities and the sustainable development of the nation.
