On September 29th, 2025 - the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, C.P. Vietnam continued the collaboration with the Vietnam Foodbank Network in launching the campaign “Food for Change 2025” and announcing the Food Waste Recycling Initiative - Green Hero.
This significant milestone highlights C.P. Vietnam’s strategic orientation toward producing safe and high-quality products for consumers, while also embracing its responsibility to against food waste and protect the environment.

Quality food – A long-term vision for community health
With more than 30 years of presence in Vietnam, C.P. Vietnam has remained steadfast in its philosophy of the “Three Benefits toward Sustainability” (benefits for the nation, for the people, and ultimately for the company), while the food that is high quality, safe, and nutritious has always been the company’s core mission.
Through the integrated 3F close-loop model (Feed-Farm-Food), every CPV product not only meets the needs of daily meals but also contributes to enhancing both the physical and mental well-being of consumers. We believe that a nutritious meal is not only a source of culinary value but also a way to nurture aspirations, trust, and happiness to every Vietnamese family.
Accompanies with Foodbank Vietnam - Sharing with the vulnerable
As a long-term partner of Foodbank Vietnam since its inception, we have been consistently engaged in charitable activities aimed at supporting the underprivileged and disadvantaged groups in society. Millions of meal portions, thousands of tons of food, and emergency relief activities have been implemented to assist low-income workers, underprivileged patients, and students facing the difficulties.
For C.P. Vietnam, we have seen this as a long-term social responsibility. Along with food production, we aspire to make our products delicious for everyone, and most importantly, for the number of people going to bed hungry each day to gradually decrease.

Vietnam Donation Fund shared: “As an enterprise engaged in the food and agriculture area, we are fully aware of our responsibility to reduce food waste, protect the environment, and care for vulnerable communities. Food For Change 2025 is an opportunity for businesses and society to join hands in fostering a greener and more sustainable future.”
Through the campaign “Food Changes the Future”, C.P. Vietnam aspires to accompany Foodbank Vietnam, social organizations, and communities to nurture health by providing safe, clean, and nutritious food; sharing human values through every meal that fosters greater love for food, while gradually reducing waste, building a circular food ecosystem, and protecting our living environment.

More than just a campaign, this also represents the orientation that C.P. Vietnam is pursuing where food not only nourishes the body but also helps cultivate a sustainable future.
“Green Hero” – A new direction towards a circulation of green food
C.P. Vietnam is an enterprise engaged in the agro-food industry, we recognise that against food waste is not only an environmental issue but also a key factor in ensuring food security.

Representatives of C.P. Vietnam witnessed and celebrated the signing ceremony on cooperation agreement “Strengthening Actions Against Food Loss and Waste in the F&B Sector and Culinary Festivals.”
Through the Green Hero initiative, C.P. Vietnam collaborates with Foodbank Vietnam and partners to develop solutions for on-site food waste recycling. Waste is converted into compost, soil nutrients, and animal feed, thereby creating a circular green food system. This model not only reduces landfill pressure but also regenerates resources and supports green livelihoods for the community.
This represents a concrete step toward realizing the Net Zero 2050 commitment, while reaffirming C.P. Vietnam’s responsibility in the nation’s green transition journey.
