From 9–11 July, a senior delegation from Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group), led by Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, Chairman of C.P. Group, visited Vietnam for a series of high-level meetings with government leaders, the National Assembly's Committee for Economic and Financial Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and business partners.

During the meetings, Mr. Soopakij expressed his appreciation to the Government of Vietnam and relevant authorities for their continued support of C.P. Group's operations over the past three decades.
He also reaffirmed the Group's long-term commitment to Vietnam, highlighting its plans to expand investment, advance digital transformation and AI adoption, and support the development of a modern, sustainable, and environmentally responsible agri-food sector.

Expanding Value-Added Processing and Export Capacity
"C.P. Group is committed to expanding its investment in Vietnam, strengthening the country's role not only as a domestic market but also as a strategic production hub serving international export markets," said Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, Chairman of C.P. Group.

Discussing the Group's future development plans, Mr. Montri Suwanposri, Member of CPF Executive Committee and Vice Chairman of C.P. Vietnam Corporation, said that expanding value-added food processing and exports will be among C.P. Group's key investment priorities in Vietnam. Planned initiatives include increasing poultry processing capacity, investing in new production facilities, and further strengthening the country's integrated hygienic slaughtering network to support long-term growth in both domestic and export markets.

In the poultry sector, CPV Food Binh Phuoc, C.P. Group's integrated poultry farming and export processing complex, currently operates with advanced production technology and a processing capacity of approximately one million chickens per week for export markets. Building on the project's strong performance, C.P. Group plans to invest an additional USD 200 million to double the facility's capacity to two million chickens per week.
C.P. Group also plans to invest approximately USD 300 million in a new poultry processing plant in Phu Tho Province, with a designed capacity of one million chickens per week. The project is expected to strengthen processing capacity in northern Vietnam, expand the supply of value-added poultry products, and support the country's agri-food export growth.
In the pork processing sector, C.P. Vietnam has established a network of five hygienic slaughterhouses nationwide. The company plans to invest a further USD 100 million to expand and enhance its integrated pork processing system, ensuring compliance with the evolving requirements of both domestic and international markets.
