The Ca Mau Aqua Feedmill was officially inaugurated by C.P. Vietnam on August 7, 2026. As the company’s fourth aquafeed production facility in Vietnam, the new mill increases C.P. Vietnam’s total aquafeed production capacity to more than 650,000 tons per year. The investment strengthens the company’s ability to provide advanced nutritional solutions for the shrimp farming industry, supports sustainable livelihoods for local communities, enhances the value of Vietnam’s shrimp value chain, and contributes to the sustainable development of the country’s aquaculture sector.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Van Su, Member of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Boonlap Watcharawanitchakul, Executive Vice President - Aquaculture Business, C.P. Vietnam; along with representatives from government agencies, business partners, customers, media organizations, and employees of the Ca Mau Aqua Feedmill.

Providing Local Shrimp Farmers with Access to Advanced Nutrition and Farming Solutions
Located at Lot B5, Khanh An Industrial Park, Khanh An Commune, Ca Mau Province, the Ca Mau Aqua Feedmill covers nearly 18 hectares with a total investment of VND 1.725 trillion. The facility has a designed annual production capacity of 124,800 tons and manufactures C.P. Vietnam’s flagship shrimp feed brands, including Blanca, CP, Hi-Po, Hi-Gro, Lotus, and Nasa.
These feed products are produced under strict quality control standards, covering nutritional composition, sinking performance, water stability, moisture content, pellet size, and dust levels. Designed to enhance shrimp health and immunity, they support healthy growth while helping farmers improve farming efficiency and productivity.

The Ca Mau Aqua Feedmill is equipped with modern machinery and advanced automation systems across multiple production stages. Among them, the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system enables precise dosing of raw materials, monitors mixing time, and controls key operating parameters, helping ensure consistent product quality while enhancing production efficiency.

With the commissioning of the Ca Mau Aqua Feedmill, C.P. Vietnam aims to strengthen its capacity to provide high-quality nutritional solutions across Ca Mau Province and the Mekong Delta. The new facility will help shorten feed transportation distances to shrimp farming areas while enhancing the company's delivery and logistics capabilities. As a result, shrimp farmers and businesses across the aquaculture value chain in Ca Mau and the Mekong Delta will gain greater access to consistently high-quality feed tailored to the nutritional requirements of shrimp at different growth stages and farming conditions. In addition, they will benefit from advanced farming technologies and on-site technical support, helping improve farming efficiency and promote the sustainable development of the shrimp industry.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the C.P. Vietnam Ca Mau Aqua Feedmill, Mr. Le Van Su, Member of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, stated: “The inauguration of the mill marks not only the establishment of another modern industrial production facility, but more importantly, the addition of a strategic link to Ca Mau Province’s shrimp value chain. The new mill will strengthen the province’s access to high-quality aquafeed, helping reduce production costs for shrimp farmers while creating more employment opportunities and increasing local incomes. It will also support the development of the processing and supporting industries, contributing to the province’s economic growth in the years ahead.”

The C.P. Vietnam - Ca Mau Aqua Feedmill currently provides stable employment for nearly 200 employees. The mill also collaborates with local suppliers and service providers, generating additional job opportunities and creating sustainable livelihoods for workers in the surrounding community.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Boonlap Watcharawanitchakul, Executive Vice President - Aquaculture Business, C.P. Vietnam, said: “C.P. Vietnam remains committed to supporting the sustainable development of Vietnam’s shrimp farming and aquaculture industries. We continue to invest in modern production facilities to deliver high-quality nutritional solutions for shrimp farming, while expanding training programs and providing advanced technical support to help farmers improve production efficiency, enhance their incomes, create stable employment, and build sustainable livelihoods.”

According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Ca Mau is one of Vietnam’s leading shrimp production hubs. In 2025, the province produced 594,851 tons of shrimp, reaching 101.9% of its annual target and marking a 5.2% increase compared to 2024. These results further reinforce the shrimp sector’s vital contribution to the local economy and affirm Ca Mau’s leading position in Vietnam’s shrimp industry.
The commissioning of the modern C.P. Vietnam Ca Mau Aqua Feedmill reflects the company’s continued commitment to strengthening the local supply of high-quality shrimp feed, enhancing production efficiency across one of Vietnam’s key shrimp farming regions, and further supporting the shrimp industry's contribution to the country's economic development.
