Under the plan, C.P. Vietnam will support 150,000 trees for local communities across Gia Lai Province in 2026–2027. In 2026 alone, 76,072 saplings will be distributed to 45 communes and wards. The species include black afara, yellow flame tree, yang oil tree and yellow cheesewood, among others. Staying on Track to Plant 3 Million Trees Over 10 Years
The initiative in Gia Lai is part of C.P. Vietnam’s “Journey for a Green Vietnam” program, implemented from 2021 to 2030 with the goal of planting 3 million trees nationwide. It is one of the company’s key initiatives to fulfill its environmental commitments, expand green coverage and contribute to Vietnam’s efforts to address climate change.
From 2021 to 2025, C.P. Vietnam achieved its target of planting 1.5 million trees. Building on this achievement, the company will continue working with the Department of Forestry and Forest Protection from 2026 to 2030 to plant an additional 1.5 million trees, with the aim of reaching the overall target of 3 million trees by 2030.
